Blue Cheese Appetizer Biscuits

INGREDIENTS:
| Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray | 4 oz. crumbled blue cheese |
| 2 cups Martha White® Self-Rising Flour | 3/4 cup milk |
| 1/4 cup butter | 2 tbsps. butter melted |

- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 ounces crumbled blue cheese
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted

PREPARATION DIRECTIONS:

HEAT oven to 450°F. Spray large cookie sheet with no-stick cooking spray. Place flour in large bowl. With pastry blender or fork, cut in 1/4 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gently stir in blue cheese. Add milk; stir with fork until soft, moist dough forms and mixture begins to pull away from sides of bowl.

KNEAD dough gently on lightly floured surface just until smooth. Roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness. With sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut into 1 1/2-inch squares. Place biscuits on prepared cookie sheet.

BAKE 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Brush hot biscuits with melted butter.

TIP
Serve split, spread with mayonnaise and filled with fresh sliced cucumber, tomato, roasted red pepper or sautéed mushrooms.
