Martha White Announces Call for Entries for
2010 National Cornbread Cook-Off
WHO: Martha White® is searching for the best main dish cornbread recipes to be entered into the National Cornbread Cook-Off sponsored by Martha White and Lodge® Cast Iron.
WHAT: Be one of the competitors to fire up your oven at the country's largest cornbread cook-off. Ten lucky finalists will compete to win the first prize of $5,000 and a 30-inch stainless steel gas range (a $3,250 value) from Five Star® Professional Cooking Equipment, a division of Brown Stove Works, Inc., during the National Cornbread Festival in South Pittsburg, Tenn. on April 24, 2010.
To enter your original cornbread recipe, submit your recipe online at www.marthawhite.com under the "News and Promotions" section, e-mail your entry with name, address, daytime phone number, date of birth and grocery retailer to cornbread@dvl.com, or mail your entry and contact information to:

Contestants must submit an original main dish recipe prepared with Martha White Cornbread Mix and cooked in Lodge Cast Iron cookware. Complete Official Rules are available online at www.marthawhite.com or www.lodgemfg.com. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., 18 years of age or older. Void where prohibited.

WHY: The National Cornbread Cook-Off began in 1997 as a celebration of Southern cooking. The contest is held annually during the National Cornbread Festival in South Pittsburg, Tenn. The 2010 National Cornbread Festival will be April 24-25.
