TOP FIVE FINALISTS CHOSEN IN THE MARTHA WHITE® MUFFIN MIX CHALLENGE™

Online voting begins today; Grand Prize winner to receive $5,000

WHAT: The top five finalists have been selected for the second annual Martha White® Muffin Mix Challenge™ and it’s time to cast your vote for the best original recipe. Bakers from across the country developed unique recipes created with at least one Martha White Muffin Mix and the following finalists were selected to proceed to the next round.

The finalists are:
Gloria B. from Naperville, Ill. for her recipe Golden Lemon Blueberry Coconut Tart

Gale C. from Redmond, Ore. for her recipe Blueberry French Toast with Fresh Blueberry Sauce

Lisa K. from Middleburry, Conn. for her recipe Blueberry Cheesecake Squares

Paula M. from Richmond, Ky. for her recipe "Sakes Alive" Chocolate Fudge Bars

Pamela S. from Parkersburg, W. Va. for her recipe Caramelized Banana-Nut Upside Down Cake

Judges culled through and tasted entries to select the top five recipes using the following criteria: taste, creativity, appetizing appearance, ease of preparation and appropriate use of Martha White product(s). Visit www.marthawhite.com for Official Rules.

The Grand Prize winner will receive $5,000 and a Martha White gift basket and four runners up will receive $1,000 and a Martha White gift basket.

WHEN: Voting is open to the public online at www.marthawhite.com from 12:01 a.m. CST Feb. 8 through 11:59 p.m. CST Feb. 28. Voters must be at least 18 years old.

WHY: In addition to helping one of the finalists win the Grand Prize, consumers who cast their vote online are automatically entered for a chance to win a special Martha White gift basket. Don’t forget to vote!
