Country Breakfast Cobbler


  • Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray


  • 1 tablespoon Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cups frozen hash-brown potatoes
  • 3 cups chopped cooked ham
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 1/2 cups (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese


  • 1 1/2 cups Martha White® Self-Rising Flour
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 5 large eggs

Preparation Directions

  1. HEAT oven to 400°F. Spray 13 x 9-inch (3-quart) baking dish with no-stick cooking spray. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion; cook until tender, stirring occasionally. Add potatoes and ham; mix well. Remove from heat. Stir in parsley. Pour into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
  2. COMBINE all topping ingredients in medium bowl; beat with wire whisk until smooth. Pour batter over filling in baking dish.
  3. BAKE 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
