Love making homemade waffles, but feeling a little bored by the same old toppings? With a little imagination, the possibilities are endless, so why play it safe? Here, are six of our favorite options—both sweet and savory—that are sure to satisfy your waffle cravings, no matter the time of day.

Chocolate, Hazelnut, and Strawberry

Spread a heaping teaspoon of chocolate hazelnut spread thickly across the surface of the waffle. Top with sliced strawberries and a light sprinkling of confectioners' sugar.

Apple Butter and Granola

Spread a heaping teaspoon of apple butter thickly across the surface of the waffle. Scatter with cinnamon granola. For an extra treat, top with a spoonful of vanilla ice cream.
