Maple Sausage Cornbread


1 pound maple-flavored pork sausage

2 eggs

1 cup milk

2 packages Martha White Sweet Yellow Cornbread & Muffin Mix


Heat oven to 400°F. Cook sausage in 10 1/2-inch ovenproof skillet over medium heat until cooked and crumbled. Drain sausage, discarding drippings from skillet.

Whisk eggs in medium bowl. Stir in milk and cornbread mix until smooth. Stir in cooked sausage. Pour batter into skillet.

Bake 25 to 28 minutes or until golden brown.

For Half-Batch Maple Sausage Cornbread: Prepare as directed but reduce quantities to 1/2 pound sausage, 1 egg, 1/2 cup milk and 1 (7 oz.) package cornbread & muffin mix. Cook and bake in an 8-inch ovenproof skillet. Reduce baking time to 17 to 20 minutes.
